Building a module - need help.
I compiled a 2.6.6 kernel from a source (not debian way), and there's a forcedeth.c file in ...drivers/net
Reading that forcedeth.ko module works with NForce2 onboard NIC I want to create a module.
How do I do that?
Can you refer me to kbuild for 2.6/kbuild howto - I've googled but failed to find for newbie like me.

Re: Building a module - need help.
Set the main ethernet support config option, then set the forcedeth option to 'm'. This can be done manually in the .config file, or using a gui, either make menuconfig, or make xconfig.
# Ethernet (10 or 100Mbit)
For the rest of the process refer to this how-to: http://www.desktop-linux.net/debkernel.htm
(I reviewed it very little but believe it is accurate, if you have problems with some steps look for more help for debian)
