When I install the drivers with a custom compiled kernel, the installer will get everything ok, but when the progress bar reaches 100%, it will stay there for several minutes with hardly any disk usage, up to 10 minutes or something like that, then finish successfully. If I look at the top command output I can see there's something compiling but very slowly.
Anyone has had this experience? Any solutions? |

I'm on Mandrake 10 too, but with the default kernel it goes very quickly, the problem happens when I recompile it.
