Default Checking on Nforce2 APU support

Hi all,
I know that previous Nforce2 Linux drivers did not support the APU. But from reading the driver release page for the 274 drivers it almost sounds like they support the APU. Is this so? I'm still using the 2.4 kernel if it makes any difference.
