Default Re: 1.0-6111 for Linux X86-32 and Mandrake 10.0 ?

There has been at least 2 solutions to this problem on this forum. The quicker one (which I haven't tried myself), is to launch the installer with --add-this-kernel (eg. ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6111-pkg1.run --add-this-kernel).

The solution I used, was to copy the kernel's config file from /boot to the source tree to get the driver compiled and then manually install them. You can find more detailed instructions to this way from previous threads here.

Btw, if you did "make mkproper", you might need to uninstall the kernel sources and reinstall them. I'm not entirely sure, what "make mkproper" does, but it messes up something from the source tree and you should NOT run the command.
