Default Problem getting 1600x1200 in 1.0.6111 on Toshiba Laptop

Hey, I have a problem with the new driver and resolution on my laptop

I used to use this setting with older drivers to make it work

Section "Device"
Identifier "NVIDIA"
Driver "nvidia"
VideoRam 32768
Option "IgnoreEDID" "true"

I have been told that the screen will not go to a 1600x1200 resolution (which is native for the laptop) because the EDID reports incorrectly

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100 laptop with a Nvidia GeForce 420 to Go video card. I am using XFree version 4.3.0 compiled from source from www.xfree86.org on Slackware 9.1

If there is any more information needed, please let me know

You can use IgnoreEDID in order to make it get 1600x1200.

HOWEVER - The 6106 and 6111 drievrs are broken on many Toshiba laptops, including the Satellite Pro 6100. I have the same laptop. You can either use older drivers, and ignore EDIDs, use 1400x1050, or set a modeline for 1588x1200.
