6111 drivers "make mrproper" bug
Some people have been having compile troubles with the new 6111 drivers and Mandrake 10 (does this happen with other distros?
It seems that the nvidia-installer in the NVIDIA-Linux-6111 drivers has been changed. My hackish fix is to use --extract-only on the 6111 drivers and an earlier driver (I used 6106). Then copy the nvidia-installer file from the resulting 6106 driver directory and overwrite the 6111 nvidia-installer file.
cd to the 6111 directory and do ./nvidia-installer with your normal options you usually use when you "sh NVIDIA-Linux-*.pkg*.run" files.
Worked for me...
