TwinView CRT & TV (TV OUT)
OKay, rather than sift through hundreds of threads (I've gone through at least 100) because I'm a newbie at Linux, I'll test my luck here.
I have a GeForce 2 MX 400 (Old I know) that supports TV-Out. I, however, can't get it to work. I'm running SuSE 9.1 Pro. I have installed my driver and all works well on the 3D end. How in the world do I get TV out?
This thing is my brains. If there is anyone out there that can help me, for the love of Linux if nothing else, HELP!!
Can you hear the frustration in me? I know it's

Re: TwinView CRT & TV (TV OUT)
I do not really know what format you are using to your TV, but test this one. add this line in your device section in the file "/etc/X11/xorg.conf" or "/etc/X11/XF86Config" it depends on how new linux you use. I hope it will work.
Option "TwinViewOrientation" "Clone"
Option "SecondMonitorHorizSync" "30-50"
Option "SecondMonitorVertRefresh" "60"
Option "MetaModes" "1024x768, 1024x768; 800x600, 800x600; 640x480, 640x480;"
Option "TVStandard" "Pal-G"
# Maybe you need to change this line below, if you use other than SVIDEO cable
# out to your TV. Maybe you use "Composite" then change "SVIDEO" to
Option "TVOutFormat" "SVIDEO"
# GOOD LUCK! this row you dont need to include in your XF86Config =)
