It's kind of funny seeing some of the responses. I guess they didn't get his perspective and some of the defending responses are funny as well. Funnier still is that they felt the need to review it. The conclusion should have been obvious and he should have been able to tell from the box and Mature rating that it wouldn't be a recommended game. It's like having a Christian movie site reviewing the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Why bother?

wtf? i thought a christian site would give it a higher rating, considering the fact that youre fighting the minions of hell. its not a pro satan game. if anything, its very anti hell.

I think the problem is you defeat the forces of hell not with divine grace, the love of God and faith in the Almighty but with a shotgun, rocket launcher, BFG and a centuries old artefact built by aliens. Fundamentalist Christians don't like that idea...

Oh come on, you can't tell me that at some point before his ministry, Jesus never packed heat.

I guess they missed the fact that it's just Ephesians 6, modified for the technological age...

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the shotgun of truth strapped to your back, with the chaingun of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the BFG9000 of peace. In addition to all this, take up the armor shards of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the plasma rifle of salvation and the chainsaw of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints."
