Arright, this is the official (sorta) X-Box Doom3 thread... hopefully this won't degenerate like the last one, which I unceremoniously closed...
Ya know what, somebodah should get some screenies on this thread of the X-Box version... I'd like to see some more recent screenies, and maybe compare em to what a GF3 can do @ 6x4... And let's CIVIL-LIKE talk about the release date... ![]()

When Halo2 and Doom3 are finally available for XBOX I'm going to buy stock in Corona...
God knows I'll be buying enough of it for me and my friends when we hit-up the multiplayer! I'm sure my fiancee can't wait! ![]() |

. Wish it had split-screen multiplayer though, that would be cool.Anyway, I too would like to see some comparision shots between the Xbox version and a GF3. Although they've actually reduced model detail in the Xbox version to increase framerates (an option I WISH they had in the PC version), so it will invariably look much worse on the Xbox but *should* run at a fairly steady framerate. But still, for a $150 piece of hardware it doesn't look bad at all...though most people who have an Xbox are more interested in Halo 2 anyway. |

Halo 2's graphics on Xbox might actually outdo Doom3 too, it gives Doom3 on the PC a run for its money.
I hear ya though, but I thought they said co-op wasn't making it into the xbox version? |

Huh? Did they remove the coop feature or something? I thought they said they were for sure adding it into the Xbox version, did they cut that feature or something? Would be pretty annoying if they did, it would be a pretty piss-poor port if they cut that feature out, they said from the start that they were porting the game with coop in mind. Oh well, if that doesn't pull through then there's even more reason to get Halo 2: 4-player coop baby

4 player coop, man, that's gotta be killer. 4 MC's tearin it up. I hope they do like Serious Sam and proportion the difficulty to number of players.
I could have sworn I saw that somewhere, could be wrong. Someone shed some light please? |

The only point to co-op in doom 3 for xbox is so that one marine can hold a flashlight while the other fires at whatever he's pointing it at since he wont be able to see anything else
