which mag is that, pc gamer? that does say sept 22 right? that isn't from last september is it? if they posted it in a mag they wouldnt delay it would they?

ahh, but sadly even the mag is legit valve has drained all my trust, so until i put the cd in an make sure that it works, im gonna remain a skeptic.

anyway this is what they say the next issue will have..

they have a big picture of the hl2 symbol & under it, it says its done.. now the mag comes out on the 22nd of september.. seems pretty soon.. so im thinking the game could be coming out in australia at the end of september? & they want to get the mag out befor its at the store's? i dunno. but there is for sure something coming in the next pc powerplay mag.. could be a review, could be a preview.. time will tell...

I'll drop by barnes and noble this week adn have a look through the game mags and see if they have any info on hl2 and release

from what I have read many have already kinda had hands on experience with the latest build but I don't tihnk its fair to draw conclusions given last years interesting developments...

I think it could be a good photochop, mainly the Doom3 disks/HL2 disk shot made me totaly paranoid about that stuff.

And secondly, i know valve strives to copy Id, but useing the exact same campain as Id seems werid and then this

Id's campain was on the premice "We said it will be done when its done, ITS DONE"

with valve they can only say "We said it was done a few times now, but ITS DONE kinda, maybe, we hope"

So, i think its a photochop however

A friend of mine at work who makes knives for a hobby told me that he was sending some pictures to somebody who made games. I guess I should have asked him a few questions, as I never dreamed it was Valve/Gabe.

Update: he's post #17 in that thread. I'll have to ask him about it tomorrow. I'd forgotten that Gabe collected knives.
