I recently purchased this card, and the dual DVI cable connectors (to support 4 displays). I am running this to 3 Viewsonic VP191b LCD displays.
The OS is RHAS 3.0 WS, (up2dated'd) and the intention is it have the 3 displays side by side.. After trying the twinview method, I cannot get the 2nd and 3rd screen to display properly. I have seen threads here re: issues w/ running these connectors. Any thoughts? Que |

Finally got mine to work.
First of all, I could not use the SMP kernel out of Redhat WS 3.0. Used the UP kernel. SMP will lock and crash every time. Second, you have to make sure that you address both cards in the startup. Here is my XF86Config file: ############################ # XFree86 4 configuration created by redhat-config-xfree86 Section "ServerLayout" Identifier "Default Layout" Screen 0 "Screen0" 0 0 Screen 1 "Screen1" RightOf "Screen0" Screen 2 "Screen2" RightOf "Screen1" InputDevice "Mouse0" "CorePointer" InputDevice "Keyboard0" "CoreKeyboard" InputDevice "DevInputMice" "AlwaysCore" Option "Xinerama" "Off" EndSection Section "Files" # RgbPath is the location of the RGB database. Note, this is the name of the # file minus the extension (like ".txt" or ".db"). There is normally # no need to change the default. # Multiple FontPath entries are allowed (they are concatenated together) # By default, Red Hat 6.0 and later now use a font server independent of # the X server to render fonts.
