Installing SuSE 9.0 Pro when network not detected

I have a new AMD Athlon system with an Nvidia nforce 3 250Gb motherboard. The CD that I created to start the process boots just fine and it looks as if everything was detected properly, except for the network device. I've seen the downloads for support for graphics and the network on the Nvidia web site, but how do I get network access when I can't install the RPM?
