alright i just upgrade my kernel from 2.4.26 to 2.6.8.1 and now the nVidia driver no longer works, i upgrade to the newest one, there was no precompiled module available, so it compiled one and it installed it. but now i can only launch X if i use "nv" or "vesa" as my driver.
my setup is: Slackware 10, 2.6.8.1 kernel, GeForce2 MX 200, newest driver logs and conf file are attached any help would be appreciated thanx -Eric |
