Huh, looks a little higher than when it was first announced, weren't the original projections around a 700 mhz CPU? Suprising they still support DX7 cards though...wonder how this game would run on a Voodoo 3

My old gateway SLI voodoo 2 system will smoke HL2.

I usually take those kind of things with a grain of salt. The game isnt released yet.
As an example, I once saw that Morrowind was going to be released on PS2, there was a box shot an all, Cant remember if it was on amazon though.

I wasn't sure how well it would run on my computer, but after seeing that I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to run it on medium to high

yeah i would definetly take that with a grain of salt, amazon isnt exactly the most accurate site as far as specs

They forgot a major requirement...the game itself...which doesnt look to be coming anytime soon...

Thoughs are the latest official specs released by Valve. They (Valve) also said that a Radeon 9600 would be the minimum requirement to play the game with everything turned on (DX9 mode).

cool. does that mean i would be able to get it to run on my old highly modified 500Mhz Celeron with PCI GF2. I used to get GTA3 running on it at low graphics with no lag.
