You'll need to be a little more specific... that's way too vague of a question.

What games?/are you OC'ed?/what are your voltages/what's your PSU/do you have SP2?/etc...

I can answer a few of those. I was just now playing Battlefield Vietnam, um no, I'm not overclocked, all those other questions, I'm not sure of.

Its either a software thing or a hardware thing.

Google for a program called Prime95, install it, and do a torture test for a few hours, see it runs fine.

If it errors, either you cpu is getting too hot, not enough voltage, or theres a problem with your ram.

If this happens, get a program called mem86. Burn a boot disc with it, and boot of it. This will check your memory severely. If it's a memory problem it'll show up. Other wise its a cpu problem. Let us know how you get on.

Of course it could be a problem with driver conflicts or a load of other jaff.. but...

Installed new hardware recently ?

I had problems a few days ago when I installed my upgrades (512mb pc3200, seagate160gb and Gf6800)

Games just dropped out, and in Farcry i got Bsod.
I blamed the Gfxcard but it turned out the be the added ram. It wasnt compatible with my old stick (512 333mhz) I really thought that those should work together as I dont use the ram to its full capacity with this mobo cpu combo.

Had to buy one more 512 pc3200 of same brand and remove the older slower ram and now every thing works great.

So if you did recently upgrade, be sure to test the added things.
