Hello
While testing ALSA on my a7n8x deluxe board, I've found that the AC3 pass-through does not work because the status bits of the SPDIF stream are left at their default value (i.e. PCM/ audio) even though the registers of the ALC650 are set correctly. (See alsa bug 411 for details: https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/al...bug_id=0000411 ) So, to get AC3 pass-through working, the ALSA project needs some informations on the SoundStorm chip. Could Nvidia please provide the minimum specs of the SoundStorm chip (MCP-T) to be able to control the status bits of the SPDIF stream ? Best regards Last edited by ddumont; 09-10-04 at 07:12 AM. |
