HD1080i TVStandard

Hello all. Does
Option "TVStandard" "HD1080i" work via DVI as well, or only through composite/s-video? I assume this is the correct way to select 1080i for output but in the previous driver I was only able to get 640x480. Maybe this driver will fix the problems?
