System hangs on mouse clicks

Hi,
I just installed RedHat Linux Enterprise ver 3.0 WS update 3 on MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum Socket 939 Motherboard with AMD 64 bit 3800+ CPU. Motherboard uses nForce3 chipset. When I use mouse (USB OR PS2, I tried both) it hangs the machine. Here is the configuration I have:

Kernel : 2.4.21-20.EL #1
OS : RedHat WS update 3 for AMD 64 bit
Hardware: AMD 64 bit Processor on nForce3 Chipset Motherboard
Memory: 2GB
Power Supply: 450W
Display: nVidia Riva TNT2

When the system hangs, it doesn't report anything in the logs.

But the sytem works fine remotely via telnet and exceed

Any help will be appreciated.
