Install driver on Athlon 64 not work
As user root I write this:
sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-1.0-6111-pkg2.run I get this error, my ricompiled kernel is 2.6.8.1 on slackware 10 where I've abled Athlon 64, I've a card Geforce2 agp 32k and 512 mega ram. ERROR: this .run file is intended for the Linux-x86_64 platform, but you appear to be running on Linux-x86. Aborting installation. Thank you. |

Are you sure the kernel is compiled as x86-64? Athlon 64s can run i386 kernels as well...
