"The Video Game Revolution" PBS special

PBS will be doing a special on video games. Most of us are fans so it may be interesting and PBS productions are always to notch. Not sure if it will include PC games.

It's airing Wednesday, Sept. 8th, at 9:00 p.m.

Up! For those that missed this. It has started on the eastcost and they are showing pc games. Saw a clip of Doom3 just now.

OMG! Pamela Eakes sooo pissed me off!

That had to be the biggest crock of *pooh I have ever heard someone say.

"Doom and Quake made Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold (Columbine High Killers) kill their friends and teachers..."

They were freaking outcast for goodness sake, with issues! They killed randomly, starting with people they hated, not their "so called" freinds!

Oh, and then there was Joe Lieberman and his beef with Mortal Kombat and the Sega Genesis, as well as Altered Beast... lol. What a crock, man that just irked the hell out of me.

Besides that, what was wrong with that commercial anyway? The kid ruled and made the rest want a Sega Genesis is what I got from it, you?

Other than that, I really enjoyed the special.

Man, I can't believe how old I am getting. Maybe if you remember playing on some of the systems they mention, it would be wise to not watch...lol.

Nice show. They showed a lot of videos from new games. Strangely, I didn't see any from Far Cry, but they did show Doom3 and even the recently release MOH: PA demo..

Lots of great information, but they did leave out some memorable moments in gaming history. One guy even stated how hardware vendors were asking John Carmack on what type of hardware he wanted for his next game.
