Default S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (Multi-Player Preview)

Just read through the Stalker multiplayer preview at THG. Pretty interesting. Can't wait to check this game out. The single player is supposed to be amazing too...Anyway, just didn't see a thread about it so check it out...

Flatout - Q4 this year
STALKER - Q1 next year
The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion - Q4 of next year.

Same here... but Oblivion and STALKER are waaaay past them both.

Man, I want a new game so bad.

Doom 3 was pretty good... I havent played DX:IW in a few weeks, it just isnt interesting enough i guess... and Battlefield Vietnam is about as much fun as a crushed ice enema.

I reaaaally want a good new game... preferebly an RPG.

ME WANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting:
"We (AMD) are confident that the upcoming 64-bit version of STALKER will deliver unprecedented realism and mind-blowing performance."

3. stalker
4. HL2/duke nuke-em forever.

It would be amazing if Quake 4 could beat out HL2.

A few questions:
1. How does one say "cthulhu"
2. What engine is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. using? Proprietary or lisenced?
3. What is Flatout?
4. Why do you think HL2 is coming out this year?

Thank you.

Along with Everquest 2, LOTR: BFME, Stalker, and NFS:U2, it's going to be a good year.
