hesy all,
I got a gainward 750xp ti4600 card running on suse linux 9.1 (kernel 2.6) and it runs fine until I get the latest nvidia driver ( Linux IA32 - Latest Version: 1.0-6111). as soon as this gets loaded the normally quiet fan of the card switches into high and get very very loud. does anybody have this problem too? any hints on how to tackle it? thanks for your help! |

I have an Asus 4800Se
In this case, the fan is quite loud all the time! I'm thinking of buying a fanless solution for this card.. Zalman has some good stuff for this purpose.
