I can't get my Sims married.

No matter what I do I just cant get my sims to marry. There relationship is on 100 with a heart next to it and they kiss and everything, what else do I have to do?

Are they male and female? Or did you do the typical Sims player thing and have a couple of women playing the little man in the pink canoe?

I just bought the Sims 2 for my daughter and the graphics looks a lot better than the first sims ,but she is haveing slowdowns and pauses in the game ,I guess I will have to put her a better video card in and add some more ram.
