Default 3d Screensavers are funky

Hello,
I have a Geforce 6800OC on dual CRTs. I have the nvidia driver installed and working, playing cs and battlefield vietnam fairly well. Now i am stumped on the 3d screensaver.
Any 2d screensaver runs fine on the screens. But the 3d screensaver will take the output for the first monitor and duplicate it on the second. It does this after working correctly for a few milliseconds, enough for me to see it working correctly, then dupicates the output from the first monitor onto the second.

any suggestions are welcome

Is it the KDE screen savers you are using?

I have a 6800 Ultra, and experience the same problems. The older GeForce Ti4600 never demonstrated this "effect".

I'm running mandrake 10.0 on a Athlon XP2700.

I sent an e-mail to NVidia about this, and other rendering anomalies, but never heard back.

QUESTION: If you open up konqueror, and repeatedly move the mouse over and off of the http:// bar, do you notice the down arrow icon on the right of the http bar being rendered incorrectly at times? It may take about 100 repeats of this operation or so; but occassionally, I get pink, red, violet, blue etc....

Yes, it is the kde screensavers, however, they are just a wrapper for xscreensaver

i put my old ti4200 in and it has NO problems with the screen savers so it must be involving the 6800 gt oc

here are my specs:

Intel 2.4c oc to 3.2ghz
1gig pc3500
Suse 9.1 Professional
BFG Geforce 6800GT OC

Where did you email nvidia, i'll shoot an email off to them too and see if we can get a reply
