It's this way with every new release of 3DM.
Whatever the top cards are get brought down
to a crawl.
Now in 12 months the new cards will be getting 10,000+.
It the same old story.

How the hell you guys get over 5K with a 6800 GT? Im using the 61.77 drivers, will another version give a big boost?

EDIT: Also, 3d Mark isnt reading my core\mem speeds correctly... is it because of the seperate 2d\3d clocks?

Ok, in Win 64 with 61.76 i got 4445.Not bad.GT at 415/1120
On Xp i got a maximum of 5355 with 66.51
