All i can say is that thank goodness I waited the extra 2 months for the GT's to be out, and didn't break under the strain of crappy computerness (used to be good, ti4600) and get a 5900XT or 9800Pro.

Hallelujuah, Praise the lord!!

I"ll be back with the score in 20 minutes, stupid servers and their slowness. Lol. Or the thousands of people downloading the same program.

Nice job gdphk, your 6000+ score gives hope that we can catch up to the ATI crowd with new drivers.

My system gets 3755. That really sucks. I'm running everything at default speeds. I didn't know the 6800 GT was so weak with this benchmark.

This benchmark is just plain odd. The Pentium line is getting absolutely destroyed by the Athlon. I've never seen a benchmark where the CPU plays a HUGE role in overall score.

I have a Pentium Extreme Edition 3.4GHz @ 3.6GHz and I'm getting destroyed by a 2.4GHz Athlon! Hehe.

My system score 2476.

It seem in order to get a good score you have to have top of the line
equipment, which I dont see people running out to buy. I don't have
the money to keep up, nor do I plan on it.

I use 4.9 drivers on my 9800 pro @ stock speeds.

5692 on a X800XT PE with beta 8.07 drivers. System specs = P4 3.4GHz, 1GB RAM, SB Audigy 2. Nothing is overclocked.

I feel like such a girlie-man compared to all you 6800GT owners.
I score 2800 with a Barton 2800 and a 400/850 6800NU.
Maybe the upcoming Rivatuner will be able to open some pipelines for me

Here's my damage:

NO Overclock, default GT speeds (350/1000):

Overclocked (365/1100):

I'm using the 66.70 set drivers. I previously had the 66.35 which I removed through the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs.
