Wooo!

I updated drivers to 66.70 from 61.77, restarted and gained 800 3dmarks!

I love my computer... this ol' 1700+ is holding up so well

EDIT: Im running in Quality mode. AA off and AF off

EDIT2: Im proud, im 19th (and on the first page) for all Athlon XP systems
Good Job

I hate to bust your bubble but you are not holding 19th place on all athlon XP systems. Most are still detected as the original athlon (like mine). Try searching for athlons instead of athlon XPs.

Ah thanks, I didnt realise that

I sort of wish the program was a LITTLE more CPU dependant. Theres not really anything you can do to boost your score if your video card doesnt overclock any more.

Anyone with a CPU that OCs really high want to do an experiment? Leave your video card the way it is, then lower the overclock on your CPU (back to stock preferebly) and test it again. I want to see how much that effects the score.

Oh I think that the AXP is great. No offense taken or intended on my part.

What I find even funny is that I saw an X800XT with a score of 69xx, pretty good right? But what that actually translates to is he is getting about 4 frames per second more than me. For such a BIG difference in scores, it's meaningless! This was with him clocked well over 600 Mhz on his core. Clock for clock, that would just stomp a geforce 6800 GT in most real world games and by more than 4 frames per second.

This all leads me to believe that this may be the biggest piece of crap benchmark ever.

There's your no spin zone review.

Yeah I agree. My card is a crappy core overclocker and I don't know how much a higher CPU clock will help me. I'll bring it back down to stock speeds and run it again.

Did you run 3 loops and take an average for these results?

God damn... 300Mhz for less than 70 points. That sucks

I guess I wont gain much at all if I get a 2600+ Mobile Barton and OC it to 2600Mhz. I might gain 200.

Oh well...

4948 marks

See the sig. I'm using Catalyst 4.8 which I'm sure is probably holding me back with this bench by at least a few hundred points if not more.
