Lol. Is that using the no render feature of the driver, where it renders a black screen?

P4:3.0GHz
6800GT@400/100
61.77

score = 4222

either those 66 drivers massivly improve the performance on the 6800 series or massivly optimize for 3DMark2005 .. heh

also i'd like to note that i found some shadowing anomilies in GT3 & artifacts in the loading screen of CPU tests 1 & 2.

Yeah, the 66.70 drivers do boost scores a lot. Gained 2 fps in the Far Cry 1.3 bench at 1600x1200x32, 4xFSAA, 16xAniso, ultra details, which is 10%. But image quality seems blurry during the bench; these seem like cheat'in drivers.

As for the A64 rigs with big scores, hell the guys on NF7-Ss with XPs at 2400 mhz are getting 5200 or so (running 200 fsb!). I got an NF7-S too and normally the P4 slaughters the rig in 3DMark2003, 3DMark2001, and Aquamark. Next step is put my Ultra in the NF7-S and see what's up. Hell, I run 223, 2-2-2-5 on it.

3DMark2005 doesn't look very good to me because of the low resolution and jaggies. Anybody run the CPU tests? My gawd, 2 fps at 3.5 gig, 292 fsb.

I believe the bench is run at 1024x768. This means the CPU size should be a factor in the score. Although I never notice significant variation in 3DMark2003.

In any case, I got a 3.0C at 3.9 gig, running 260, 1:1, 2.5-3-3-6 to test next .

I went ahead and got the Pro version for 19usd. You have got to see the water in the canyon with 8XAF at 1600x1200.

Quality Driver settings, card 440|1.15, No AA|AF, Trilinear filtering selected in the application, test run using 2_a VS|PS, 1600x1200.

Quality Driver settings, card 440|1.15, AAx4|AFx8 selected in application, 3.0 VS|PS, 1600x1200.

That was with 4xAA|8xAF. The other score(2_a) is only trilinear filtering.

Those are also 1600x1200 not default 1024. Here's quality driver, No AA/AF filtering set to trilinear with VS/PS 3.0.
