The 8.07 betas don't include WDM drivers and that really had me wondering WTF was going on @ first.. I ended up w/2 unknown devices in DM after installing them. Took me a while to figure that out.
Good score either way but I have to question both companies huge score increases with last second drivers when this benchmark got released. Anyone knows what kind of sneaky hacks were done for those increases. The could be legitimate but something tells me IQ or overall stability may have taken a hit with them. Your score with the official 4.8 drivers are about 5-10% faster than my 6800 Ultra using the official 61.77 on my last run of 4580. This is about what I expected since I have first hand experience with a X800XT PE and know that it is a bit faster performance-wise than the 6800 Ultra in DirectX applications.

Your card seems to be doing nicely either way though!

I was also very suspicious. I still am I guess, though not as much as I was initially. Some time has passed and nothing earth shattering has come out yet so I'm a little more at ease now. Maybe it really was just a memory management bug like ATI was saying. If it was, they took their sweet time to fix it it seems.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with it.

There's a guy over on abxzone getting well over 7,000 though. He has a volt modded XTPE.

Makes me wonder how much more I could get w/a volt mod. This Zalman cooler keeps the core down to 63c at load so I would think I'm being held back by something other than temperatures right now. Oh well, I'm not taking that Zalman off of there regardless so I have what I have.

All I have are the AA and AF slide bars
and the High performance/Quality bar.

The Global setting are not there.

Well here are some new results for me. More than just 3dmark05 though. I finally broke 30 grand in 3dmark01.
