I agree that Futuremark coded the v3.0 path badly - or they intended for it to run no faster than v2.0.

either way - thats not our problem nor should we care

at least we can specify the shader model before the test - or at least you can with the pro version (that I borrowed)

Comparing scores these days is like comparing apples to oranges depending on the drivers, tweaks, etc.

I mainly use the 'Marks to test relative performance of different rigs, so the actual score is unimportant as long as I keep everything the same.

This is the 3DMark2005 score I got last night on a S939 A64 board running 2600 mhz, 260x10, 1T, 3-3-3-6 and a 32 sec SuperPI 1M time: 5139. No cheats, 66.39 drivers

. The board gets 7290 buffered bandwidth! The video card is an Ultra at default clock.
