What's the fastest Nvidia drivers for 3DMark2005? I'm not up to speed in this area; I'm still running the 71.2s.

The 75.90's or the 76.10's are what i found to be the fastest, well on my rig they were, some benchmarks here if you want to check 'em out

Im Sooooooooooooooooooooo close its not funny.

EDIT: - this must be with no cheats!!! - ie: App controlled AF - not forced off!! and quality driver settings - no overclocking.

Have you tried the 75.90's or the 76'10's, they give me the highest score in 05.

Ah, how refreshing it is to see my very poor card and lackluster system to pull 1-2fps in '05! It proves that it can still run, if your idea of running is "the oldest yet nicest looking slideshow in the world", which is what I've been tethered to in HL2... oooh, the canals go around 10fps!

(It took a lot of courage to run this test.)

yeh getting 4967 with the 76.41 driver.

darn close. - ill work on it some more - perhaps looping the test and letting the law of averages do its thing will get it over 5000.

I think you shouldnt over emphasize the importance of forcing the AF off. I just tried 05 with and without (with "application controlled" on and then Off, restarted 3dmark in between) and Off: 5226 and App control: 5207.

An amazing 19 points difference with that "cheat" . I bet the score can fluctuate 19 points even by background processes or other random factors.
