Default Re: 3DMark05 Benchmark Results

I need help please. I am somewhat computer illiterate. I bought the following system believing it would play Everquest 2 at full options 1600x1200 and 85 Hz but it still is jerky. I took the computer back and they said the 05 benchmark was in the 13000 range and I am not sure if that is correct. I thought it would be much higher. They said 05 does two tests and in one the frame rates were in the 90s but then the second one they were 3-6fps but they said that was what the test was supposed to do for the second half?

Here is the system:

Asus A8N SLI Premium
2 X 7900 GTX 512mb SLI
4 GB Kingston XP Ram 2x2024
150 Gb Raptor 10K RPM
Coolermaster water cpu cooler
Coolermaster 550wt power supply SLI
Coolermaster Praotorian Case 2 fans
Sony 24" CRT

Anyway, I go pick it up tomorrow and was just wondering what I should ask them to know if the computer really is working well. They said they adjusted a setting in the 'bios' that sped the game up? I have no clue...

Thanks,

Clueless

Score and config is in sig.

The new 87.25 drivers gave me a nice boost, and fixed the problem where I could get the clock to 699, but not 700. I didn't push to see if it would go any higher

that seems awfully slow for a 7900GT..? I could be wrong though.

for reference I get 6600 on a single card in 05 and well over 10,000 in SLi.

7.7K? that does seem a lil low.
But I suppose the venice 2.2GHz isn't doing you any favors, but even then you should be at the least 8.5K I think. Unless you're runing PCI-e 8X/ High Quality with V-sync on.
