Default AGP Rate question

*sorry to mods if this in wrong forum*

Operating System Microsoft Windows XP
DirectX Version 9.0c 9.0c
AGP Rates (Current/Available) 0x / 4x, 8x
CPU Intel Pentium 4 2400 MHz
FSB 512 MHz 133
Memory 2048 MB pc2700
e-vga Geforce 6800 gt stock

my score is 2048. i did the product compare and people with similar specs were getting 2000 points more than I was in 3dmark05.
The only difference i noticed is that their agp slot read 8x in the first number while mine read 0x. Could this be the problem?

AGP Rates (Current/Available) 0x / 4x, 8x 8x / 4x, 8x

Thanks for any help guys.

You need to install your motherboard chipset drivers in order to properly enable AGP 8x.
