HTT and FreeBSD

Hi, I was wondering if anybody had experience in running games(like quake or enemy territory) on freebsd when you have a pentium 4 with HTT. FreeBSD actually looks at my computer as if it had two cpus, are there any stability issues with this setup? I was thinking of rebuilding the kernel without support for SMP or acpi, to see how some games would fair.
