Default A Small Mod for CS:S - Bumpy Shiny People Holding Guns

obligatory pimpage shot

I figured the player models in CS:S were a bit flat looking so I took the liberty of adding some bumpmaps and specular highlighting to them. If you want to check them out yourself, download them from here.

I was missing a folder in the directory structure but I updated the download. If you already installed it you can simply take the models folder, which it created, and move that it into the materials folder. That will fix you right up.

Does it let you play online with the new models\textures?

If it isnt considered a cheat, someone could replace the models with huge targets so they were easier to spot

Its not new models, just the same ones with two texture layers added for effects. It works fine online, I'd imagine CS:S has the same restrictions as the oldschool CS to keep people from useing models with huge targets.

digitalis, I think the pink you are seeing is valve' no-texture texture which either means you didn't get the .vmf files in the right spot or something is wrong with the the drivers/settings.

Well sure one can do that in just about any game, but I got the impression that CaptNKILL was talking about adding locators around the models like old CS cheats before Valve stoped that.
