Default help with svideo out XF86config

For the last 3 days I have tried varies ideas mentioned in this forum to no avail. I even tried reverting to rev6101 of the nvidia drivers as someone had this working once they reverted. This is running on a ASUS K7N2 mobo (inegrated nic and video) with an 8x AGP Chaintek Geforce FX 5600 (which has the svideo).

What I want is a config for XF86config please as this is a WBEL (www.whiteboxlinux.org) system. Its only output is to the TV (no twinview no other monitors).

I can get the NVidia splash screen (disabled that now), then I get the blue background just before the login screen. Then I get a white screen from which you can barely see the login inputtext bar.

My XF86config

First it is S-VIDEO instead of SVIDEO so change that. Second I'd recommend you to use a lower resolution than 1024x768. The best resolution for NTSC is 640x480 (there are 525 lines on NTSC tv, not all are visible on all tv's so you end up with about 500 lines which is good enough for 640x480) For resolutions like 800x600 or 1024x768 there are not enough lines so the image quality becomes a lot less as information is lost.

Check the README file; it says "SVIDEO", not "S-VIDEO". The original poster is correct.
