Exclamation Painkiller Battle Out of Hell Demo! SM3.0 Support!!!!!!

Quote:
The demo features the latest version of the PAIN Engine and with it, the latest enhancements from the 1.35 update. In the popular "Military Base" level, players will enjoy effects such as heat and haze distortion, light blooms, per pixel specular mapping, new shader effects and tweaks for the latest video cards. All in all, a mere taste of what the PAIN Engine will offer in the expansion pack, Painkiller: Battle out of Hell.
This one has SM 3.0 Support!!!!!!!!!!

Here is my review guys, first of all, performance is terrible. Sometimes its a good 50fps or so, sometimes its not, 25fps. I just cannot figure out why my peformance is so terrible. My 9800 Pro on the original game ran better than this. These are all at 1280x1024 2x/aa

same here...stupid p-word protection....and those screens look exactly like the first game, aside for the overkill on hdrl. Engine looks exactly the same otherwise. Probably running like crap cuz it's unoptimized. Or maybe this is proof Nv40 cards cant handle anything involved with sm3.0?

downloading now, this will be nice to see, i prolly also get low performance, it's a bit odd though as the pain killer game do run incredibly well
I havent actually tried it on my 6800, but considering that i did play the game on my old fx5200ultra and fps was great.
