Can't wait. *******. All indications are that this game will redefine FPS action for the next few years.

I really hope, really, really do, that it kicks as much ass as the article would lead you to believe...

Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun was one of the most hyped games of all-time, I want to say, along with D...tana (I refuse to sully the good name of this board by uttering that cursed name) and both got pretty crappy reviews.

The magazine I really miss is PC Accelerator. That was the best gaming magazine EVER.

That's got me thinking about the good 'ol days. I'm going to have to dig around and see if I can pull out some of my old back issues.

I used to have a ton, like 2+ years worth, but I think they may've been thrown away by my mom in one of her cleaning frenzies after I moved out of the house.

DAMNATION!

I'm not that big of a fan on CGW...it's okay, but I really do prefer PCGamer. Regardless of what anyone says, I think they're the best now that PC Accelerator is gone.

Alas, almost the same situation here. Only my mom also threw away my Clever & Smart collection! Totally unforgivable. Back on topic, its these sort of articles that've made me stop reading gaming magazines. Those guys think that ALL their readers are 10 year olds that can be fed with all the lies and hype they give them, and if the game turns out to be crap, they'll just forget about it and look forward to reading about the next (hyped) release. 98% probably means they didn't get the exact amount they asked, me thinks

PC Accelerator was the best PCGamer takes a second place position, but still my favorite overall mag is PCFormat. Expensive as hell since its based in the U.K. MaximumPC is great also.

Yeah, MaximumPC is awesome too. I've never heard of PCFormat, though.

My favorite non-gaming computer magazine is CPU. I love it. The articles are great, the registry tips and tweaks and the beta software and just, well, everything about it is awesome. I love that magazine.
