Well kids, it's finally on the newstands. I took a break from work and visited the local Barnes and Noble on the off-chance they would have it. Sure enough they did. Time for me to do some readin'!

Could we really end up waiting until the end of November to play this when they have an actual review out in a magazine for the complete game?

That just seems silly to me.

I still have all my PC Accelerator issues (I own every one and the CD's!). It was the greatest game magazine ever. I still enjoy pulling an issue out at random and looking through it.

PCGamer is OK, but clearly second best.

I also own a bunch of boots, which I think were Maximum PC's predecessor. Max is a great PC magazine.

Is this a real review, because it has typos in it? I am just asking because if it is real then they need to fire their editor.

Any way I am sure this game will be loads of fun and I can't wait.

Yes. They do that in England all the time with betas. They'll review a "near final" beta months before the game is released.

They used to at least, I dunno if that's still the case or not.
