I could return back with i810_audio, but sound effect much poorer. Any help is appreciated. |

downgrade to nvaudio, no such problem.
but i notice nvsound call up soundcore.o but nvaudio call up soundcore.o & ac97_codec.o. and i810_audio with ac97_codec.o. |

A new version of the NFORCE drivers were released today (yesterday?), They work a LOT better than the 0283 release, still some problems, and still OSS
![]() But, I now have hw mixing, so I'm happy! |

Everything I've tried now works , before it was getting the dreadful delay. However it would seem Mplayer doesn't work , even with the channel 6 switch. Reverted back to the 1.0-0283 drivers and Mplayer works again. Anyone else have the same problem?

The acpi has been disabled.
just upgrade to 2.4.27. sound problem same. install 6111 nvidia driver, and X coundn't startup with GLX. it work well on 2.4.20-31.9. |
