NFORCE-Linux-x86-1.0-0292-pkg1.run --add-this-kernel > .manifest
I tried to install the latest nForce driver on my Mandrake 10 dist. with the option --add-this-kernel.
The installer stops with the message: Failed to open manifest file .manifest. Please run this utility with the ¨--help' option for usage information¨. This --help option does not give me the solution to this problem. ¨sh NFORCE-Linux-x86-1.0-0292-pkg1.run --check¨ gives: ¨check sums and md5 sums are ok¨ uname -r prints: ¨2.6.3-15mdk-i686-up-4GB¨ earlier today the installer ¨NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6111-pkg1.run¨ worked fine.
