Lower Guk, Naggy and Vox, Gynok Moktar, Scimitar of the Mistwalker, Crystal Caverns, FBSS, Has anyone seen my corpse, WTS all on me, inspect, Sergent Slate, Speaking to an NPC thinking it was a player, Accidentally attacking said NPC and getting owned, Giving mobs items, Avatar of War, Agro, FD pulling, Bazaar millionaires, Falling into The Hole, Raiding, "The boat's here", KS'ing, Gorenaire, Mayong Mistmoore, NERFS!!!, Ranja jokes, Breaking Mez, TRAIN TO ZONE, Misty Thicket Picnic's and Halas Pies, Halls of Testing, SSoY, Dodging the FV spiders on the way to LoIO...
Just a TINY fraction of the game I've played for 5 years. The good, the bad and the ugly. Here's to EQ2. And if you're an old skool EQ player, here's something you might enjoy. Turn your speakers on (work safe) it's a hefty flash movie but if you're in the mood to reminise this will blow you away. Get the tissues ready.... http://home.att.ne.jp/surf/mirage/sa..._norrath3.html |

I am in both the WoW beta and the EQ2 beta and I am definitely going with WoW. The high level content for WoW is amazing. EQ2 is a lot harder to solo in as well. Those are my main reasons.

I have played both a bit and am definetly going with EQII. I like the graphics better in EQII (WOW=too cartoony for me) and in general, it just feels more like EQI (as it should) and I loved EQI...

I preordered my EQ2 Collectors Edition today... fully payed. My dumbass forgot to take the Bonus disk thinking I didn't need it but just read that I could only get the JBoots using the Key that comes with it and not the game... stupid...

I will be playing beta tonight so I will let you guys know how it goes. I played EQ1 for 3 years and I must give it to Verant IMHO they are the true "magic" its hard to run out of content in EQ.
BTW recommended drivers for EQ2 are _ _?

I noticed a huge diffrence in FPS on my system when I forced vsynch in the NV control panel versus using the synch refresh rate option in the EQ2 panel.
I suggest using the NV control panel over the EQ2 panel if you can. |

Now hold your horses for one sec. SOE got rid of most if not all of the original Verant team that made EQ 1. Those guys formed their own company and are currently making a game called Vanguard. The EQ that now exists is mostly SOE employees whom, in my opinion, need to get their collective heads out of their asses.

Another cool thing I liked is you can customize you're user interface to look exactly like the one you had in the first EQ. So theres not much of a learning curve there for the new game.
