Steam Update 24/11/04

Morning all,

Just booted up steam before leaving for work and it started updating........took a couple of mins.

Anyways - u guys reckon this is the stuttering patch??? - I hope so.

Let me know your results as im stuck at work for another 9 hours.......

No it`s not, it is just a remember password not needing to be ticked

Here is the update and steam is stuck at 31% , no response comeing , can't play CS Source , what a peace of crap

What going on with Steam???

It updating, now 15 mins on, very slowing update progress to 35%, this is terrible, I cant play Half Life 2 now for the next hour or 2.

so lame.

if you buy a damn retail CD you shouldnt have to log online to play the friggin thing single player. This is hurting casual users much more than pirates.

Come on, stop whining you all.

I guess you don't have to put your CD/DVD in your console also.
And for having CD-protection; thank VU and not Valve.

You had a choice, and you chose CD/DVD, so complain to VU.

Pretty good reason to whine if all you doing is looking to play the single player mode for a game that you legally bought.
