Same for me, on my FX 5900. So I went back to the good ol' Forceware 53.03.

Apparently that happens with the 65.76 drivers too. Hopefully newer Nvidia drivers still to be released will solve the problem. I get great performance in other games and don't really want to go back to 53.03.

Someone already said they're system crashed with 61.77 and above. I went back to 50 series driver because it is still the most stable out of any driver I have tried so far (and I've tried nearly all of them, trust me). All these driver issues are making me lose faith in nV very quickly.

With all these drivers being used and brought into question, can't it be just the game itself? In using the 70.41's, I too rebooted going into the first turn. However on everything else I play, life is peachy.

Still using 70.41's, the demo doesn't even open. May try some older drivers.

So far it looks like NVidia card owners with driver version 66.72 drivers are experiencing difficulties (BSOD/reboots). 61.77 seems to work, so you might want to consider switching to that version if you're having trouble.

However, this is just an initial impression, your mileage may vary. We'll start collecting information about the affected systems to nail down the problem.
No word on the 70.41's however

The nitro idea is great, and the guy flying through the windows is hilarious. Not to mention the high jump is ****ing great

I managed to get second place however with my Momo racing wheel.. it wasnt easy
though

Sadly, the game comes out tommorrow for those in the Euro areas, but for the U.S. it doesnt come until the beginning of the year. Although, you can still order it from www.gameplay.com and they will ship it here
Yeah its pretty funny thorwing that guy out of the car. I hit the NOS button on one of the tracks, went like 100mph into this ditch, and they guy FLEW. I could literally see half of the level from the camera.

I love when you can sometimes get lucky and barely tap a wall and get nearly full on nitro... great when you get on the straight away and start going 180 (hopefully the other cars in the game can get this fast without nitro ). I can't wait to play the full game.

The 70.41s work fine for me. I've only played the 2nd track a few times though so I don't know if that matters.
