lol... i pm'd the owner of [H] and he gave me the nickname Kamel after a person had posted 3 times with it long ago. that was really nice of them, especially because i hardly ever post at hard, just lurk, lol.

I'm sorry, I worded that badly. He seemed to imply the only small post users can change their name.

that's true, but there's a lot of people who register their nickname to figure out a single question, then never visit the site again...

i'm sure you're aware of that, just saying that in case it probably would be a no-brainer.

V-Bulletin shows when last activity for a user is. What I'm saying is just because they don't post doesn't mean the username is available.

How about a sticky "Username change" thread . people tend to change thier usernames sometimes so its better to stick with one thread for that perpose & also easier to find who changed thier nicks .

just a thought ..
