Default cedega 4.1 + NVIDIA 66.29 (wierdness)

in dmesg i see

4 entries each time i run cedega on a game... using both kernel 2.6.8.1 and kernel 2.6.9 (kswapd patched..)
nvidia 66.29 drivers used...

i also get this messages with 2.6.7, but the games works without problems....

games "work" but vertex shaders get disabled, which is annoying me )
Beside that it may have an impact on fps, depending on your cpu and what the game engine choses to do when vertex shaders are off.

Do these messages show up indiscriminately or only with specific games?

"Fix", works for me:
Since "NVRM: failed to allocate page table" was accomanied by cedega spitting out "...maybe want to increase AGPVertexRam to avoid this...", i did just that, increased that setting to seemingly crazy values.
My gf 6800gt has 256 mb ram, set like that in cedega's "config", my agp aperture size is 256 mb ( set in bios ), but AGPVertexRam is now at "2048" in cedega's config ( was 128 ).

Looks crazy but works for me in Everquest.

GTA: Vice City (doesn't work correctly anyhow... keeps switching back and forth from fullscreen to windowed mode, and crashes usually when i switch to console and back.. unrelated problem i believe.... but just making note of it)

@zander:

At my original settings of 128 for AGPVertexRam that message only showed in certain "zones" ( equivalent to "level" in games like doom3 ), seemingly in areas which had a higher memory demand.

I increased it to 256 = agp aperture size and it fixed it
edit: no I still get them now.....
