Yeah yeah, I know I know, don't rub it in

And if I knew back then what I know now, I would've taken you up on your offer. Bah, the retail version of HL2 is rediculous. I don't know why they thought "Hey, lets make it MORE annoying to people who bought it off the shelf (for a higher price, no less) than it is for people who bought it through Steam!". Even HL1 didn't need the CD in the drive to play multiplayer...

Wow . . . I just finished the game and it has been an extraordinary adventure for me. Everything has just been amazing. I can't really find the words to describe it but it's definitly one of the best (possibly the best) FPS games I've ever played. Good job Valve. Nice work. Looking forward to Half Life 3!

umm. if you go to the right of the logs, there's a gap that you can drive through between the logs and the wall.

Did anyone else here notice the function "walk", which should be binded to the alt key in the keyboard options? I really don't see a difference when I hold alt down

Yeah, I was wondering that, it seems like there's no walking in this game (or at least it's not properly bound to the ALT key like it shoudl be). One thing I can't believe is that the game STILL has that "run faster against a wall" bug that HL1 did, where pressing up against a wall as you walk forward makes you go faster. Yeesh, did they just copy and paste the movement code from HL1 into Source in this game?

the amount of people completing the game so quick - people should just play it on the hard level when the game starts getting strategic
