Consider using the coolbits 3d reg file instead. It's virtually the same thing just without a GUI.

Bad news hard drive crashed and died so don't look forward to 64bit support any time soon. I'd have to start the entire project over. I wrote NVTweak in VB6 and that is not .NET compatible anyways.

Instead I'm working on a new tool that will be .NET and Windows 64-bit compatible. There is a screenshot on my homepage.

Default Does NVTweak v1.7.1 work w/ PCi-Express cards?

Hi
I am new to this forum, and this tool During installation,
the Readme file states NVTweak is for AGP cards. I have
a PCI-Express card (Gigabyte 6200) and am wondering if
I can use NVTweak. I have the drivers downloaded from
the Nvidia website (v71.84 fro MCE)

I am using this in my HTPC setup, and I see that the
image jitters when there is a lot of white in the image,
especially in ads (Maybe because ads have a solid white)

Hi Legolas, and welcome to nV News

NVTweak should work fine with PCI-Express cards. As far as I know all the settings are stored in the same place in the Windows registry.

How are you water cooling those on an sli-d. What cooling blocks are you using?

AFAIK the refresh rate overrides page still works it is just that nvidia doesn't support it anymore in their drivers. Something about framerates dropping when 4x AA is used. But if you're not using AA then I would at least give it a try. You could always disable overrides if it doesn't work out.

gram_vaz I never did write a help file for this app :-/ I had planned on it but development ceased when I lost all my source code in a hard drive failure. (Silly me thinking I had backed it up )

with LCD monitors, refresh rates don't matter at all.

I was using the Koolance blocks specifically for the 6800's, although i've got 7800's now so I'm back on air.

Hi,

When I access the advanced Global settings I can only choose between single and Multi mode, I don't have the options for AFR, SFR etc, why is this? Using 77.77 with NVtweak btw. Many Thanks.

EDIT: Fixed it! A bit of regedit magic on the coolbits entry sorted it.

I loose the Fullscreen overlay on the other screen (usually TV) with it..
doesnt seem to be any lower CPU usage or anything either..
whats the idea? better quality?
