Normally I don't feed the trolls and flamebait, but your gratuitous attempt to start a fire here with sheer faked stupidity is kind of funny.

Here, start writing for this column.

Ignoring the complete lack of coherent grammar skills, he does have a point.

Steam is crap.

We should, but i totally agree. It took my friend 4 hours for his copy to register his over dial up. In the meantime, i was lucky, i must have gotten in at just the right time, coz it only took me 22 seconds to register and update.

start a fire?...since the subject line is obvious, you can post any opinion of the game you want, ppl dont have to flame just cuz i did of one problem or dislike, my opinion was also typed in a somewhat dry humorous manner, no one should care enough to take anyones posted opinion seriously....post this game rules and your retarded cuz you cant get it to work for all i care.

if i wanted to start a fire then i'd go for a controversial subject, to my knowledge hl2 is very non controversial

i have some controversial information that relates to Half Life 2... there is a rumour that Gabe Newell had sex with plain donuts, then ate jelly donuts afterwards... But don't quote me about this... i heard it from a friend of a friend of a friend who had sex with a hooker. No the donuts and the hooker aren't related.

Well, not really flame-bait, since it IS true (just presented in a slightly flamible way ). Besides, he's on dial-up, he deserves our pity . Ugh, I remember the days of Steam with dial-up...updates took freaking forever, and it downloaded data at around 2k/s (even though I could download from other places at 5k/s). Even on my broadband the entire authentication/update process took well over 30 minutes...and I STILL need the damn DVD in the drive to play the game. Bah, they really need to fix Steam.

Edit: WTF?!? I just played HL2 yesterday and now when I go to play it it tells me I need to unlock it? That's it, I'm getting on a plane, and I'm bringing my crowbar!

I can understand is anger... paying for a game and not being able to simply install it is a bit ridiculous... having to wait for many hours just to play a singleplayer game is getting out of hand.
