Default Upgrade from Ti440 to GT6600...

On a bit of a budget and was wondering with equal processors how much faster the 6600gt would be than the Ti4400, I can't seem to find any benchmarks with these two because I think my 4400 is too old now, but I would still like to know. I figure about 3 times faster... seem about right...

Thanks,

rhuala

All I know is that I went from a 4400 to a 6800GT and it was insane. You will be more than pleased with the results.

I went from a FX5200 to a 6800GT and that feeling was like no other. Im sure yours will be similar even tho any ti4xxx card owns a FX5200.

the 6600GT beat the 9800XT so its the best bet for 180-220 dollars right now.

Read this article. The 4400 is around a 5600 Ultra/5700.

Going from a TI 4400 to a 6600GT will be a nice upgrade .I don't know about three times as fast but in certain application it will be close to that.
